The Gala is a fantastic community celebration where guests thoroughly enjoy themselves. It is also the largest fundraiser for the school, with over $260,000 raised last year. There are many ways for families to get involved with the Gala. Read on for more details.
Attend the Gala
Join us for the 22nd FASPS Gala at the re-imagined Seattle Design Center complex, in the vibrant Georgetown Arts and Culture District! Come early to buy your Golden Ticket, sip wines and signature cocktails while mingling with your friends and bidding on the great silent auction items. You'll enjoy a delicious seated dinner as the Live Auction takes place and participate in the dessert dash. Raise your bid cards high and enjoy the spirited bidding that is sure to take place. Buy your tickets and encourage your friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues to attend with you - all are welcome.
Procurement
We rely on parents to donate and solicit the items to fill our auctions. Launched last year, we are again doing Gala baskets, but this time we are organizing one basket per grade, opposed to one basket per class. Check in with your grade organizer to get ideas about what to contribute. The grade whose basket sells for the highest amount at the Gala will get to meet Seahawks mascot Blitz! You can also donate a dessert, plan a Salon Party or donate any item you choose! Procurement is due February 24. See the procurement page for more details.
Raffle
We are giving away a one-week stay in a top-location apartment in Paris, plus $1,000 for airfare or other travel expenses. At only $5 per ticket, you should have no trouble selling your 10 tickets and even more! Winner does not need to be present at the Gala, so tickets can be sold to friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. The class who sells the most raffle tickets will get to meet Seahawks mascot Blitz! Click here for more details. Sold tickets must be returned to school by Friday, March 17.
Art Contest
Encourage your student to participate in the Art Contest! We can’t wait to see our student artists’ interpretation of this year’s Gala theme. The contest is open to all students. Several winners will be chosen from each age group. All participants' creations will be displayed at school and a special one-of-a kind kaleidoscope with all the participants' art pieces will be used on a special surprise Gala merchandise item. Due date for the art context submission is January 27. Click here for more details.
Online Auction
Again this year, there will be an online auction. Details will be coming shortly - check back here soon!
