To produce such a large scale event is truly a community effort! We understand that this can seem overwhelming, especially for new families, but we want to emphasize that you should not feel pressure! There are easy ways to help that don’t require opening your checkbook.
The auction is the centerpiece of the event, and this is one of the places we need the most help. Think about your own talents and connections:
These kinds of unique items and experiences make the most attractive auction items. You may download and print the Community Partner Letter to give to a business owner if you wish to procure an item.
Grade Baskets - This year we are also offering grade baskets as one procurement option that we hope will help those of you who say “I have no idea what to procure!” Our wonderful coordinators have picked some fun themes to help guide you and give you ideas about what to procure. You can also donate cash to support the efforts of the grade basket coordinators who will then purchase items for the basket. New this year is the Grade Basket Procurement Form. Please download and print this form if you're donating an item or cash for your student's grade basket. If the basket theme doesn’t excite you or you already had other ideas – no problem! Procure in the way that works best for you. And always remember that you can solicit donations, even to the baskets. Visit businesses related to the theme and ask for their donations! Bring your adorable kids along – they won’t be able to say no! The grade whose basket sells for the highest amount will get to meet Seahawks mascot Blitz!
The Dessert Dash is another great way to contribute. Make your family’s favorite treat and drop it off at the Gala. Or ask the bakery where you pick up special treats if they would donate. Please download and print the Dessert Procurement Form.
Salon Parties are always popular auction items. These are unique experiences that kids, parents, and families always enjoy. Please use the Salon Party Procurement Form if you would like to donate a salon party to the Gala.
